Our customer purchased the Thinkware U1000 front and rear dash cam with radar and hardwire cable with the intention of installing it himself. He did attempt to start stripping the car panels but wisely decided to give us a call to install it for him.
Due to the amount of airbags and mechanisms for the full length sunroof we decided to run the rear camera cable down the C-pillar, behind the floor trim and up the A-pillar behind the airbag to the central mirror area. This was the safest option and allowed us to pick up the power feeds at the fuse box.
Our customer did comment that it was £95.00 well spent as there was no damage to panels or panel clips and he knows that it is safely installed away from airbags etc. Installation time was around two hours (he did comment that it would probably have taken him all day!!). Another happy customer
